This tender is for the development of a new Extra Care Scheme in Rochford and the award of the onsite Care and Support Service within the Extra Care scheme once built and operational. The development opportunity is based at Rocheway, Rochford, SS4 1DQ. The requirement is to build a Extra Care Scheme with 60 units and includes a nomination agreement for 75 years. The Care and Support contract has an initial contract length of 5 years, with a opportunity to extend up to 25 years. Extra Care schemes are for Adults who want to live in their own home with the peace of mind of onsite care and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, if they need it. It means living in a safe property, with self-contained apartments in a well-maintained modern scheme in the heart of the community that is purpose built and tailored to the needs of Older People.
