The Medical Technologies Innovation Facility (MTIF) is an integrated, dual site medical devices and advanced materials convergent technology centre. It will drive invention and innovation as well as increase speed and efficiency of healthcare related commercial product development through the provision of a number of services to industry. Two new buildings will be created. The first site, addressing Fundamental Research (TRL 1-2) at NTU's Clifton campus, will focus on developing platform technologies. This can be further developed at the second site focussed on Technology Commercialisation TRL (3-6) which will be located at the Boots Enterprise Zone (BEZ).

MTIF services will be delivered through collaborating with key selected strategic partners who together, with the physical infrastructures, form the Value Proposition to industry. Strategic partners include: BioCity Group Ltd; Medilink; Cheata; Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust; Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and the East Midlands Academic and Science Network (EMAHSN). Strong interest in MTIF has also been expressed from a number of universities in the Midlands area.

Lot 5 - Die Bonder

Lot 6 - Spin Coater

Lot 7 - HDMS Oven

Lot 8 - Probe Station (Accessories)
