WP3678 Water Hygiene Services

This contract will provide the Council with a suitably qualified and skilled contractor with the expertise to deliver a comprehensive Water Management Service which will include; water testing, pre-planned servicing and maintenance, reactive response and minor works services.

The services will be required to be delivered in all WMBC owned and managed buildings. The contractor shall be required to create a schedule for all pre-planned testing, servicing and maintenance work. A list of properties and assets is provided. WMBC reserve the right to add or remove properties and assets to this list as changes occur to the property and asset portfolio.

The contractor must be a member of The Legionella Control Association and MUST be registered to provide the following services:

• oRisk Assessment
• oChemical water treatment services
• oChemicals
• oDosing & control systems
• oCleaning & Disinfection
• oPlant & Equipment - Supply & Refurbishments
• oInstallation
• oCooling Equipment
• oFilters
• oFacilities Management

The contract will commence on 1 May 2021, for an initial three year period. There are options to extend the contract period for up to two 12 month periods, subject to satisfactory performance, business need and mutual agreement.

Social Value

The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 will apply to this procurement. All bidders will be asked to respond to the non-price criteria question set out in ITT Section C (see tender documents).
