Quotation for Sandwell Golf Development Plan and Needs Assessment

Sandwell Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultancy practice to undertake all necessary task in order to complete a development plan and robust needs assessment for all golf provision in Sandwell, inclusive of all municipal and private facilities.

The overall object of this piece of work is to establish the demand for golf participation and the ability of existing facilities to cater for current and future provision so that a development plan for golf in Sandwell can be adopted.

Key Outputs Required

Sandwell Council will require the successful bidder to complete the following:

• A strategic review of all relevant documentation regarding the delivery and performance of golf facilities in Sandwell;
• A facility competition audit;
• Benchmarking and evaluation of the current performance of golf courses in Sandwell;
• Stakeholder consultation;
• Scenario testing (a minimum of 3 scenarios and a maximum of 5);
• Details of the provision of different formats of golf available in Sandwell;
• Options to improve the sustainability of golf in Sandwell whilst growing participation;
• Options for the rationalisation / improvement of golf facilities in the borough; and
• A golf development plan for Sandwell.
