Dental Referral Management Service for NHS England - Central Midlands

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England Midlands & East (Central

Midlands) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver a Dental Referral Management

Service for the Central Midlands region which include the Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Bedfordshire, Luton,

The ITT reference is itt_734 and responses should be made by 12 noon on 9th August 2017. The Commissioner is looking for a provider to deliver a Dental Electronic Referral Service to provide an outward-facing service with a central hub to receive and process referrals. Providers will be required to work

with locally identified clinical triagers (contracted by the RMS provider and approved by the Commissioner) and

to process dental referrals for all dental specialties, ensuring referrals are received by the most appropriate

clinical service providers across Midlands and East (Central) Region. The Commissioner has chosen not to include the estimated value of the Contract for the purposes of this procurement. As a result of this procurement exercise an agreement will be established with the successful Bidder(s) for a period of 2 years, with the Commissioner having the option to extend the Contract for up to a further 2 years ie 1+1. The Commissioner reserves the right to request expansion of this service in the future to include clinical triage for secondary care paediatrics or digitisation or Primary Care Orthodontics.
