description

The Energy Systems Catapult wishes to appoint a suitably qualified consultant to help it define potentially suitable commercial arrangements for a prototype of a Shared Ecosystem to enable a range of organisations to test new energy system innovations, with an initial focus on behind-the-meter energy services.

The Energy Systems Catapult is interested in expertise from different sectors, from the perspective of enabling innovation for a new paradigm that focuses on delivery of services that consumers value.

The Catapult is not looking solely for expertise in the existing market structures and regulatory arrangements for energy; or for a perspective on how the existing highly regulated utilities structures may be transformed.

Consortium bids are welcomed if it enhances the balance of expertise available for the scope of work, but it is expected that a single organisation shall lead the work to ensure it is coherent and properly synthesised.
