The objective is to develop a new standard for suicide prevention for the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and supporting guidance to ensure that those responsible for identifying and managing suicide risk have an awareness of suicidal crisis, factors that may influence risk of suicides on the Strategic Road Network (SRN) and dissuasive interventions.
