Mobile Working, Planning and Route Optimisation solution

Essex Cares Limited is looking to procure an application to support its carers and assessors including a planning tool to automate the planning and optimise the work carried out by mobile workers. The Reablement team operates in a dynamic environment providing short programmes of rehabilitation in people’s homes.

Customers join and leave the programme on a daily basis and individual care plans are updated regularly. This creates a specific logistical challenge whereby daily plans are ideally made the day before. We never plan more than three or four days ahead and then only for weekends which are slightly less dynamic.

This mobile working, planning and route optimisation solution includes systems that will be used by the majority of Essex Cares’ (ECL) workforce. The mobile working teams include Reablement and Outreach.

Additional information: The intention is to award the contract and for implementation services to commence October 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The actuel value of the contract based on the initial three year contract is £300,000.

The supplier will have to pre-register on Bravo (https://eoecph.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.shtml ), the account may have to be activated by ECL. For the account to be activated, the supplier may need to send a request to franck.lepelletier@essexcares.org asking for the pre-registration to be validated.
