description
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) invited bids for research analysis on the levels of advertising to children of High Fat, Salt or Sugar (HFSS) products and brands on broadcast media and online, as defined by the Nutrient Profile Model and categories identified in the Public Health England (PHE) sugar and calorie reduction programmes, the associated revenues and the likely impact of further restrictions on both levels of exposure and commercial revenues.
The requirement is to undertake research and deliver a dataset on HFSS advertising on broadcast television and online. The requirement is to procure for a single time-limited exercise, to run from August to December 2018. The research will form an input into a government consultation due by the end of 2018. As part of the consultation process, it is envisaged that findings will be published.
