description

The overall objectives of the Connecting the Country (CTC): Future Customer Levels of Service (LOS) programme is to develop the thinking and detail behind the concept introduced within CTC published in May 2023.

The LOS programme is aiming to provide exceptional service and meet customer expectations regardless of where they are travelling on the SRN while recognising that customers have different needs on different parts of the network. The LOS programme aims to set out and test Levels of Service for the SRN. LOS are expected to be based on 6 of the 9 CTC Focus Areas.

The LOS concept has been well received internally and externally but more work is required to fully detail out the proposed LOS based on CTC focus areas and our Route Strategy objectives. The LOS concept needs to be socialised with Subject Matter Experts as part of our CTC Steering Group and pilot corridors to be tested. The programme will culminate in a delivery and implementation plan of proposed LOS on the SRN working with the National Highways' Transformation team and approved at Exec level.
