description

The Quality Programme acts as an overarching quality evaluation framework for the National Careers Service, currently operational in 9 regions of England. The framework enables the Department for Education to monitor, compare and rate (on a quarterly, half yearly, yearly basis) the quality of each of the Services Prime Contractor's delivery. It also assesses their Quality Assurance (QA) mechanisms and the effectiveness in delivering a high quality, impartial careers information, advice, and guidance service to their customers.

The Programme provides an independent and comprehensive source of reliable and measurable qualitative and quantitative data that exists about the National Careers Service. The findings from this programme will highlight areas of focus that will drive high quality outcomes for the customer and is an important element of our evidence base for measuring the impact of the Service.
