Early Intervention Anxiety & Resilience Programme

In preparation for a forthcoming procurement opportunity, Essex County Council (ECC) would like to invite organisations who would be interested in delivering an anxiety and resilience programme to primary school aged children to attend a market engagement event.

This is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 17th March from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at County Hall, Chelmsford.

During this session, commissioners will present details of the scope of the forthcoming procurement, including confirmation of the commissioning objectives and evaluation criteria for this service.

ECC is seeking to procure voluntary sector partner(s) with a background in the delivery of therapeutic programmes/ support, to deliver anxiety and resilience programme for primary school aged children at key transition points (school year 2 and school year 5/6) and their parents. The programme has been written by the Essex County Council Educational Psychology Service and is delivered to children (groups of 8), tailored to age. A programme is delivered to parents in tandem will enable parents to support their children. Providers will be fully trained in the delivery of the programme, which will be piloted in four areas of Essex - Maldon, Colchester, Chelmsford and Braintree.
