description
Two new regional tourism funds have recently been announced by the Deputy Prime Minister to stimulate international tourism to England – the £10m Northern Futures Fund, and the £5m South West Tourism Programme. Both funds are administered by VisitEngland and involve the delivery of multiple activity streams by national and local tourism organisations and other partners. Suppliers are invited to submit proposals for supporting VisitEngland in evaluating these programmes by developing evaluation frameworks and methodologies and by synthesising data to produce project reports. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
