CBC-0669-T-CE Aerial Photo Scanning and Rectification

Central Bedfordshire Council is a Unitary authority and has responsibility for the Historic Environment Record (HER) for both Central Bedfordshire and Luton areas. It is seeking competitive quotations for the contract to carry out the scanning and rectification of 10 epochs of vertical aerial photos currently held as contact prints

This contract is divided in to two separate LOTS:

LOT 1 - Scanning

LOT 2 - Rectification

Bidders can submit a price on one or both LOTS and the LOTS may be awarded to one or two separate bidders.

The full orthorectification, mosaic and cataloguing of the images for each of the separate 10 epochs, in MapInfo compatible format (.TAB file for catalogue info/ cutlines, ECW for images/ mosaics) with completion and invoicing by 30th April 2017. The images will need to be scanned at 1200dpi by photogrammetric scanning. Edge matching where needed will be carried out and the stitching together of all images.

Contract start date: 9th Nov 2016

Contract end date: 30th April 2017

Completed Tenders and attachments should be submitted electronically, by the due date via our “in-tend” electronic tendering system. Tenders must be uploaded via the “My Return” section of the system. Tenders submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered.

Your Tender must be submitted via the In-Tend system by no later than 12:00 noon on 28/10/2016, tenders received after that time will be excluded.
