North Somerset Council wish to appoint two separate suppliers to undertake Asbestos Removal Works and also Asbestos Surveying and Analytical Services across the North Somerset Council property estate, as required.
The contract will be let as two separate lots. While you may submit bids for both, due to industry standards, the same supplier cannot be awarded both lots.
Lot 1 - Asbestos Removal Works
This will include all elements of asbestos removal and disposal works. The form of contract to be used is the JCT 2011 Measured Term Contract.
Lot 2 - Asbestos Surveying and Analytical Services
This will include all elements of asbestos surveying and analytical services.
This contract is for a three year framework agreement with the possibility of an extension by one year. This framework agreement will be a call-off contract. The Council intends to use this arrangement for all of its schools and non-school premises.
