Independent & Confidential Counselling Services

The employees of Northampton General Hospital (NGH) have had access to an external confidential service since 1992. The provision of such a Service has proved to be of such importance that is has now become an integral part of the NGH Trusts staff support principles.The use of this service has recently changed to cover work related or sickness absence related issues only. The referrals are made to the counselling service through the Occupational Health Department (OH).The Service will be provided by an independent organisation to the Trust, with facilities provided within Occupational Health for an on-site service with additional option of off-site service if requested by the employee and will be strictly confidential.The Service will be provided by professionally qualified counsellors, working to the BACP/UKCP standards. Details would also be provided on the organisations membership of any other relevant professional bodiesFace-to-face consultations are the preferred method of counselling although provision of a telephone facility should be available.The counselling service provider will manage all appointments and bookings following referral from the OH department.Please express your interest in this contract by 1st December 2014 by registering on the Supplying2NHS website aka as Pro-contract.A PQQ process will follow based on the EOI, with the formal ITT documents to be released on 2nd January 2015, with submissions by the end of January 2015 - Contract start is 1st April 2015.
