Following Ely Museum being awarded a First Round Heritage Lottery Grant, the Museum are seeking to appoint an Activity Planner to develop an HLF Activity Plan working with the wider Team to submit as part of a Second Round Heritage Lottery Fund Bid application.
In summary, the scheme includes the internal remodelling/ refurbishment of the Listed Old Gaol building together with the modification of the existing extension to form a two storey structure that will incorporate a new passenger lift to provide access to upper floor of the Old Goal. A contract for the Exhibition Fit-out/ Collections Redisplay will take place in the Old Gaol following the completion of the Base Build Works.
