Hafod Community Housing Association (Hafod) is looking for an experienced and qualified Contractor to provide the Provision of roof replacement to include, pitched and flat roofs and roof line works as required.The estimated start date of the Contract is 1St December 2024The length of the Contract is 3 years with the option to extend for a further 1 +1 yearsThe scope of this contract will include but is not limited to;Programming of works.Surveying for the replacement of pitched roofs to Marley specification and any ancillary adjacent repairs/works i.e. roofline and rainwater goods as instructedIn some circumstances, Hafod may instruct roofline renewal and gable extensions only. I.E no roof covering renewal.Surveying for the replacement of flat roofs and any adjacent repairs/works i.e. roofline and rainwater goods as instructed.Organising and communicating with a variety of Contract Holders, to undertake surveys and installs.Installation of roofing products for both pitched and flat roofs.Liasing with Hafod asbestos removal and sampler contractors where required.Asbestos removal and or sample tests, will be completed in conjunction with the roofing works via Hafod asbestos contractors as required,.Managing CDM whilst on site.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
