The purpose of this commission is to lead Llechi Cymru’s social media activity for the next five years, during the second stage of our National Lottery Heritage Fund project.Following the successful designation of the Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales as a World Heritage Site in 2021, Cyngor Gwynedd has made good use of social media in raising the profile of this important landscape. Our social media following is growing, and we enjoy encouraging levels of effective engagement. This social media presence is a valuable means of sharing information on World Heritage Site-related activity and a great way of letting people know about our partners and stakeholders.We will appoint a company specialising in digital marketing and content creation to help us promote the National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Llewyrch o’r Llechi project and, more generally, the World Heritage Site via the management of our digital platforms, with the aim of increasing our reach over the contract period. The role will include creating original bilingual (Welsh and English) content and sharing relevant content from other creators. At present our platforms are:• Facebook• Instagram• X (Twitter)• LinktreeThe successful applicant will be expected to produce versions of each post for each platform, taking into account word count, image aspect ratio etc., where applicable.
