Food Service Delivery

The Foodservice Programme is to support Welsh Food and Drink businesses to grow and create jobs by securing contracts into regional (Wales) and national (UK) markets. The Foodservice Programme includes Welsh and UK foodservice, hospitality and wholesale sectors, to include Welsh and UK multiple chains and also independent establishments. As well as providing direct support to Welsh businesses, the Foodservice Programme will also develop strong networks and relationships with the Food and Drink foodservice sector. The successful bidder for this project will be expected to collaborate fully with all of our programmes such as Enterprise for Success (Cywain), Skills for Success, Food and Drink Clusters, Category Insight, Helix and the Food Technology Centres, GI support programme and our Scale-up and Investor Ready Programmes. The successful bidder will be required to work particularly close with the Trade Development Programme contractor and GI contractor throughout the duration of each project to deliver the KPIs and objectives of the WG’s Retail and Foodservice Plan.
