Strategic Innovation Scheme - Clusters for Success - Export Cluster 2024-25

This Procurement is to establish a contract for Strategic Innovation Scheme - Clusters for Success - Export Cluster 2024-25, under the Food Sector Development Framework Lot 1 (F062/2021/2022).The key objectives of the Contract are to:I. Set out a strategic approach to further develop the Food and Drink Export Cluster (exploring, for example, willingness to pay business contributions to the cluster activity); this should be credible, realistic, and innovative and mobilise cluster members as active participants in this development. Bidders must demonstrate how activities underpin the objectives of the Programme for government | GOV.WALES and the Well-being & Future of Generations Act, as well as the Strategic Vision for the Food & Drink Industry from 2021 referenced earlier.II. Agree the resulting strategic programme (the Cluster Delivery Plan) with Welsh Government and proceed to implement the programme, for a one-year period from 01 April 2024 to 31 March 2025, with an option to extend for an additional 1 year, from 01 April 2025 until 31 March 2026. The extension will be subject to performance and additional funding becoming available.III. Delivery (though the contract budget) of international meetings and engagement with overseas offices to support companies looking to export. Blas Cymru will assist the successful Bidder with this requirement.
