Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Consultant to undertake various packages of work, specific to the Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy requirements across the Health Boards entire geographical area via the NPS Dynamic Purchasing System for Property Design Consultancy NPS-PS-96-19.The scope of services provided by the Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy shall comprise of the following, whilst providing a flexible solution, which delivers quality, time, and cost benefits to the Health Board.In the execution of duties, the Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy shall at all times comply with the NEC Contract being administered (concerning professional services and/or works contract).Throughout the commission the Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy shall keep the Project Manager/Client informed on all developments relating to the Civil & Structural Engineering area of responsibility that may/will have an effect of deviating the project from the agreed cost and programme.Should proposed variations to the design become necessary at any time, the Project Manager must be immediately informed together with the consequences of such variation. The decision on the progression or not of the variation will be given by the Project Manager after due consideration.The contract will include two lots:Lot 1 - Works up to £1,999,999 and;Lot 2 - Works between £2,000,000 and £3,999,999
