Food Distribution and Supply Contracts 2024-28

Gwynedd Council is the lead authority arranging food supply agreements for Gwynedd kitchens and on behalf of Isle of Anglesey County Council Social Service kitchens.Food deliveries are currently made to the following establishments:• 86 Primary and Special Schools• 13 Residential Homes• 12 Byw’n Iach Leisure Centres providing snack service• 13 Secondary Schools• Day care Centre• Cafe (Storiel in Bangor)Food distribution and supply agreements are in place for the following products.• Grocery & Provisions• Frozen foods• Fresh fruit and vegetables• Frozen meat• Bread• Fresh milkThe tender for the above food supply will be published during November 2023, with the contract due to start on the 1st April 2024A meet the buyer event will be held via Teams on the 7th and 8th November 2023.
