Notification of Award of Contract of previously advertised opportunity.This project seeks to give opportunity to improve under occupancy levels to add vibrancy to a building that has been out of use, attract business startups to test the market and to provide a community hub.The funding is provided from Yr. 2 of the Shared Prosperity Fund whereby the outputs (25 businesses by Yr. 3) and outcomes (jobs created by Yr. 3) must contribute to the final scheme of supporting local businesses. (W16)The appointed organisation is to deliver a Meanwhile Spaces Project in Bargoed Town Centre initially with option to undertake further work for Year 3 of the funding project under this agreement, this will be subject to performance of the Contractor, success of the Year 2 project and subject to funding availability.Rates will be agreed between both parties for additional work prior to being commissioned.The contract requires extensive expertise to identify suitable premises, secure contract, seek all relevant permissions and legalities, adapt for relevant uses, and take the project through marketing and on to completion, securing end users. Through an iterative process the appointed consultant will be required to complete comprehensive reports that include required outputs and outcomes in line with SPF funding conditions.
