description
To supply a thermal evaporation system including any required ancillary equipment for the thermal evaporation of metallic electrodes onto perovskite photovoltaics devices on glass and film substrates. The Swansea University Bay campus site houses significant perovskite photovoltaic production and characterisation facilities including small scale spin coated to pilot scale roll to roll coating manufacturing capabilities housed within a cleanroom facility. The system is to be located in the cleanroom, co-locating all perovskite device equipment. The system will be used to evaporate gold and silver electrodes with controlled rate onto plastic film and glass substrate devices at small scale (20x20mm) to large scale (100x100mm) substrates sizes with electrode pattern determined using shadow masks capable of supporting multiple substrates.
