TWI Ltd are looking to procure an Autonomous Mobile Robot (TWI Ref: SMART-11-AMR).This purchase will be made as part of an initiative known as SMART and this grant is supported through the SMART Building for Collaboration fund.Funding for this initiative is available until the 31st March 2023. It is expected that all equipment will be delivered, and payments defrayed prior to this date. TWI may decide not to proceed with a bid that cannot meet this timescale.Our requirements for this procurement are as detailed below:1. Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) platform fitted with six-axis collaborative manipulator arm2. Collaborative robot arm to be fitted with a generic 2 finger gripper device with minimum 140mm stroke3. AMR platform should have minimum payload of 90kg4. Omni-directional drive system, providing 0mm turning circle capability5. Capable of positioning accuracy of +/-10mm in orthogonal directions6. Fitted with lightweight (max 15kg) collaborative robot arm with circa 5kg payload and minimum 600mm reach capacity7. System to be provided complete with self-contained power / battery supply for AMR and Cobot arm and include all cables, accessories, user guides and battery charging equipment8. Must be capable of simple integration with third party software & hardware and suitable for research and development projects (i.e provided with fully open programming interface, ideally using ROS based software or alternatively compatible with C/C++)9. Both AMR and Cobot must be capable of autonomous operation based on sensor feedback using ROS based software and open programming interface10. Ability to integrate camera / lidar / QR code recognition for positioning & navigation11. All devices to be CE marked and suitable for operation with UK domestic voltage supply
