WCBC is responsible for overseeing Adult Community Learning (ACL) in Wrexham.WCBC work in partnership with Flintshire County Council and operate as the North East Wales Adult Community Learning Partnership.WCBC seeks to support Welsh Government’s ACL strategy by offering a diverse range of courses to deliver Essential Skills provision.WCBC seeks to appoint providers to deliver through ten specified contracts and who are able to provide a range of services to adults. These include:• supporting those taking the first steps into learning• providing skills for life and embedding basic skills• providing skills for independent living and skills for work• contributing to personal development and wellbeing, and• developing active citizenship.
