We are now in the early stages of RIBA Level 3, Design Development, with theaim of submitting a planning application in early summer. We are planning to proceedwith RIBA Level 4A Technical Design soon after.The intention is to develop both the building next door, which has been unoccupiedfor a long time, and our building. This would allow us to upgradethe venue with both improved facilities and increased capacity, and alsoplug a gap in the city’s current live music infrastructure through the creation of anew 500 capacity space.Clwb Ifor Bach (CIB) is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Cost/QS Management Consultant to work with the CIB Steering Group, in-house team, client project manager, business consultant and appointed design team (when appointed) to review the current cost plan and deliver a more detailed construction/development cost plan following submission of our planning application in early summer 2022.
