This requirement is for a trap laser system suitable for performing large-scale quantum computing using individually trapped neutral atom qubits where the requirements below are needed to achieve long lifetime, high coherence and long-term stable operation.
The laser system capable of achieving high power (>8 W) of 780nm light generated via frequency-doubling (second harmonic generation) of the output from a telecoms 1560nm amplified fiber laser system.
