One of the main reasons for its success is that Business Objects provides a very effective platform for Enterprise-level standard reporting, allowing users to quickly develop ad hoc queries and to set up schedules and publications to a range of destinations and formats, supporting decision-making across the NHS by budget holders, PHS analysts in many areas including, for example, FOI requests, PCF in many of its business operations, PC&FS dental and ophthalmic payment and activity information and the Scottish Government during the pandemic and beyond.
It's Enterprise-level standard reporting functionality complements and broadens the insights provided by the data visualisation offering of other tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
