Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) have a requirement to procure Environmental Surveys to meet our requirement to manage the National Forest Estate.

Survey requirements under this Framework Agreement may include:

  • Ecological Surveys (animal, bird and plant species: identification and monitoring):
  • Ecological (bats)
  • Ecological (lichens)
  • Ecological Surveys (habitat walkover survey: native woodlands, open habitats and peatland)
  • Herbivore Impact Assessment (HIA) – Woodland & Peatland
  • Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) Surveys (including Rhododendron)
  • Tree Health Surveys
  • Peatland (Depth & Monitoring) Surveys
  • Peatland Code Surveys
  • Archaeological (walkover survey)
  • Archaeological (measured survey)
