description

University of Edinburgh has a requirement for a nano-immunoassay system which is capable of detection and characterization of protein molecular weights in denatured protein lysates.

Such a system must be able to:

  • perform fully automated size-based separation and be a nano-immunoassay platform for the detection and characterization of protein molecular weights in denatured protein lysates
-automatically perform all the steps associated with traditional western blot analysis and provide true quantitation of results upon completion of an experiment.
-detect proteins at low picogram level which are important for to study distinct cell populations that result low amounts of experimental material
-Perform assays with fully analysed data in a cycle of approximately 3 hours.
