This contract involves robocutting to reduce heather height over approximately 80 hectares across four work areas in Glenmore Forest Park and Dell Woods within the Cairngorms National Park.
The robocutting will influence a wider area to improve capercaillie habitat
across around 300 hectares. The project is delivered as part of the Capercaillie Emergency Plan and funded by the Scottish Government’s Nature Restoration Fund.
