INTRODUCTION:

Glasgow Prestwick Airport (GPA) is planning to replace its current, aging Navigation Aids consisting of 2 Instrument Landing Systems (ILS), and associated Distance Measuring Equipment (DME).

We are issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in advance of any formal procurement process and is not a pre-qualification or tendering exercise.

This RFI documents, and provides, details of our current system and operational requirement for information only.

It includes no element of supplier selection or bid evaluation, and responses will not prejudice any future procurement exercise. Views and suggestions will not be disclosed to third parties or used for any other purpose.

SCOPE

GPA ILS Localiser and Glidepath and DME for RWY12/30.

PURPOSE

To garner market intelligence of potential solutions, aid the development of detailed requirements and provide indicative costs, all needed to allow GPA to prepare a procurement strategy and budget planning for any future procurement, should it decide to do so.

This RFI seeks feedback on:

  • Supply market capability.
  • Supply market capacity.
  • Indicative costs for potential solutions.
  • Solution Definitions
  • Dependencies and assumption as applicable
