description
The Scottish Government (SG), on behalf of the Scottish Ministers wishes to commission an analysis of consultation engagement to inform the development of the third Tackling Child Poverty Delivery Plan. This third, and final, Delivery Plan will cover the period 2026-31 and will set out the measures that Scottish Ministers propose to take in meeting the child poverty targets – as set out in the Child Poverty (Scotland) Act 2017. Under the Act, Scottish Ministers have a duty to consult with a range of stakeholders as part of the development of the Plan. The specific requirement of this work is to provide the Scottish Government with timely, robust information on the wide range of views, ideas and options expressed through the consultation exercise. The findings will be used to inform policy development on the third Plan, and the final output will be published as an annex alongside it.The engagement and consultation analysis (this specification) aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the key ideas, issues and options presented through the engagement exercise.
