Award of Wheatley Homes South - In-House Repairs Subcontractor - Workstream 10 - Multi-Trade & Voids

This workstream covers void properties and jobs that may require a multi trade option.A “void” is an empty property which requires works to be undertaken to let the property to our customers. Reletting void properties as efficiently and effectively as possible is essential in order to ensure that we optimise the supply of good quality homes to our customers and minimise rent loss that occurs whilst the property is empty.Void properties shall be inspected and a schedule of works shall be provided to the contractor to complete. Contractors will be used for the most part to complete larger, more complex voids whilst the In-house Repairs Team shall focus upon standard and minor voids.Contractors shall be provided with asbestos reports from the client where required and the client shall require a formal weekly progress report on all voids which the contractor is working on.Void work will invariably involve multi skilled works and the client shall also require the contractor to undertake multi-skilled works in tenanted properties. The multi skilled works will require a tradesperson who can undertake more than trade and perform a wide variety of tasks in order to complete repairs right first time.The trades included in this are:-Builder-Electrical-Joinery-PlumberTo fulfil the work allocated under this workstream, you must be able to provide the above trade services.In addition to this, you may also be asked to provide works in relation to:-Painting & Decorating-Plasterer-Labourer and Labourer (Skilled) e.g. house clearances and fence building-Roofing & Scaffolding
