Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Diagnosis – Service RequirementsThe West Lothian Health & Social Care Partnership’s (WLHSCP) has a well-earned reputation for delivering ground-breaking and quality driven public services to local people overall vision is to commission a range of high-quality health and social care services to meet the needs and outcomes of the people living in West Lothian and the communities in which they live.West Lothian Council is tendering the sum of £50,000.00 to commission the services of a suitably experienced organisation to provide services to deliver assessment capacity for those people with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) uncomplicated by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or significant or unstable co-morbid mental illness.The Provider is expected to:• Provide a capacity of 100 assessment in one year• Provide a standardized, valid and reliable assessment process which clearly evidences the current diagnostic criteria for autism.• Feedback and Post Diagnosis input Meetings.• Adopt a Multi-Disciplinary team approach during the whole diagnosis cycle.• Ensure staff are properly trained and qualified to work with people with ASD / ADHD.• Provide an agreed quality assurance process, which can be shared with NHS Lothian on requestJoint WorkingThe successful bidder will work pro-actively and in cooperation with WLHSCP as well as other stakeholders to achieve the aims and objectives outlined above.Performance Information/Data CollectionThe provider will be expected to provide high level performance data in respect of the service including:• No of referrals• % of people that have engaged• Age range of clients• Gender• Ethnicity• PostcodeThis list is not intended to be exhaustive and will be formally agreed following discussion and agreement with the successful provider at the inception of the contract.Duration of ContractThe contract will be effective for one year as of 1st June 2023, for avoidance of doubt the contract will run from 1st June 2023 until 31st May 2024.Value of ContractThe total contract value for the period 1st June 2023 until 31st May 2024 to deliver the service will be £50,000.00.
