Scottish Government have a legal duty to consult with the general public and stakeholders in the development of various bills and a commitment to do so during the development of policy. The consultation service moved to a digital platform 10 years ago to ensure the public are able to access consultations in a simple and straightforward manner, and in a format they are anticipating. The continuation of this service provision is essential to the business of Scottish Government.
