SC have a prioritised asset management programme for the replacement of all lock gates in Scotland based on condition and risk and are now beginning a programme for the replacement of the priority gates.
This package of works is focusing on the western section of the Crinan Canal, i.e. Lock Gates 9 to 13 (Dunardry Flight) and Lock Gates 14 and 15 (Crinan Basin).
