description

Dear supplier. We are inviting quotes for Harvesting ramps that are required off the top side and lower side of the existing forest road at Garrogill, near Moffat. The works will involve excavation into the hillside and excavation into the lower spoil berm to form cut and fill ramps. The ramps, numbering 6 in total, will vary in length from 6 - 15m, and are to be stoned up with as-dug stone won and uplifted from FLS Garrogill quarry. The Rivox repairs will require a grader and roller to work through the route from Auchencastle entrance up into the Earshaig block to grade out the potholes/ruts and establish the areas where crushed stone is required. Crushed stone is then to be uplifted from Longbedholm quarry, hauled by tippers and spread on the areas which require it. A service area is also required near the Rivox harvest site. Thanks
