The intention of this work is to remove the invasive conifer, Sitka spruce, from the area surrounding the Lime Craig Quarry Site of Special Scientific Interest to reduce its impact on the SSSI and to improve the experience for visitors to the local trail network.Scottish Natural Heritage have granted their consent for this work with constraints that are specified below in the Quality of Service section.
