Award of CONS. FOR FUTURE COMMUNITY-LED AND ENTERPRISE-LED RURAL DEVELOPMENT POST 2020 PKC11091

Perth & Kinross Council, on behalf of the Rural Perth & Kinross LEADER Local Action Group (LAG), is seeking to commission a study to:1. Investigate and report options for community-led and enterprise-led rural development post 2020 for Rural Perth and Kinross;2. Align local rural strategy with National Strategies, Regional Spatial Planning and emerging Regional Strategies, such as the Tay Cities Regional Economic Strategy and TAYplan;3. Identify thematic and geographical opportunities for community and enterprise led Rural Place Making, following the Place Principle approach, which may support the national land use and regional special strategies which include economic strategy and transport strategy;4. Identify any existing funding gaps in the support provided for rural communities/organisations, place making and small and micro enterprises / business development in the area;5. Explore and propose resource and appropriate delivery mechanism for the Rural Economy Development (RED) Group.
