The Council’s current fleet of wheelchair accessible buses are utilised by Social Care Service users throughout the area for a range of educational and care related activities. Provision of 6 wheelchair accessible buses is now required urgently to replace the current fleet vehicles. The contract start date will be in January 2020 and will remain in place until completion of the phased delivery of the vehicles or July 2020 at the latest.
