Historic Environment Scotland (HES) has a requirement to move to, preferably, a single contract allowing HES to have a clear picture of the waste streams to ensure a holistic, sustainable and cost-effective way of managing waste and resources.
Due to the number of contracts in place and different waste streams the Waste Management Procedures will also need reviewed and updated to ensure compliance, improve waste services and reporting capacities across the estate.
Initial market research has revealed a range of options available from the waste service industry. We require support navigating these options and developing tender documents that will provide the best price-quality for our unique operations. We will also require support to evaluate the tender submissions.
