The current premises within the George Moore M140 require a refurbishment and are no longer fit for purpose in the context of the expanding team and the need for managers to be located with their teams.The project will enable a co-location of teams providing welfare; counselling and disability support, providing students will a one-stop-shop service to support their wellbeing. The refurbished premises will fit with the look and feel of the wider Campus Life development and will streamline referral across services and enhance a holistic approach to student support.The project would also provide meeting rooms to be used by the eight staff in the open plan area requiring private meeting spaceOverall, the aim is to enhance the GCU student experience and to continue to build on GCU’s reputation for the provision of the highest quality student support.
