description

The Social Care (Self-Directed Support) Scotland Act places a duty on local authority social work departments to offer people who are eligible for social care, a range of choices over how they receive their social care and support. This contract involves option 2 - funding is allocated to a provider of choice and option 3 - the Council can select and arrange appropriate support on behalf of the eligible person and option 4 where applicable.

We will be implementing an Open and Flexible framework for providers of support to disabled children and their families.
