Glasgow Caledonian University wishes to procure the services of a Manual Handling Education provider to services the students of the School of Health and Life Sciences.

The Manual Handling education will provide students with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to enable them to carry out manual handling procedures as safely as possible.

The requirement is for the provision of profession specific Manual Handling (MH) education to approximately 1580 School of Health and Life Science students per year. The extent, content and timetabling of manual handling education will vary across programmes of study. The programmes will include both BSc, MSc & Doctorate level programmes in the subject areas: Nursing, Physiotherapy, Paramedic Science, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Diagnostic Imaging, Radiotherapy and Oncology, Operating Department Practice, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Orthoptics, and Oral Health Science.
