description

The Golden Jubilee Foundation is currently having constructed a new Ophthalmology Treatment Centre. The Board have undertaken detailed work to identify the specific requirements and potential solutions for a FULY ACCESSIBLE self check in which fully meets the needs of patients with sensory, physical or cognitive impairments. To date the Board have reviewed the current marketplace and have found no single solution which fully meets the requirements - specifically the requirements as detailed in the Equalities Act 2010 and the Public Sector Equality Duty. Therefor the Board are seeking to work in partnership with supplier(s) to develop a solution that provides fully accessibility for all patients to the required self check in kiosks. It should be noted that the opportunity for development may also be of interest to other suppliers providing equipment were the public interface with IT solutions.
