The Consultant must demonstrate the appropriate level of resources to ensure efficient service delivery and must include: RIAC Conservation Accredited Lead Architect and RICS fully Chartered Quantity Surveyor. The Consultant must have detailed knowledge and extensive experience of:

  • working with contractors on conservation of historical buildings under CARS projects;
  • delivering cost effective projects on time in remote locations;
  • delivering community benefits and upskilling opportunities during conservation works;
  • building relationships with owners and local community groups;
  • delivering conservation area appraisals and management plans.

The Consultant must also demonstrate a sustainable approach to project delivery in local context.
