Scottish Water has a requirement to include ion exchange technology for organics removal, in municipal water treatment for systems up to 100 Ml/day. The scope of supply shall include, but is not limited: to the design, manufacture, supply, works testing, delivery to site, off-loading, moving into position, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of ion exchange plant & equipment and ion exchange resin. This scope shall include all major and ancillary plant and accessories necessary to form and/or integrate into an existing water treatment works a complete and robust system capable of organics removal in municipal water treatment. All systems, processes and components must be compliant with Scottish Water specifications and standards required and which are approved for use in water treatment, complying with the Public Water Supply Scotland Regulations 2014 and/or

the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2016.
